Beneath the Calvary Hill there is a grotto, which contains a replica of Michelangelo’s famous Pieta. Mary is the mother of the Church, and the Patroness of our land. Here, there is a map of the United States, a cement inlay, traced in the grass before the Grotto. As we take our farewell, we ask Her to bless our land and the world.
