There are many photos that could be published, trying to remember the Mission Festivals through the years.  We just limited to this small selection.  How old is our Festival? Our first entry in the books dates back to Sept. 17 1961, when over 1200 people were served a delicious homemade "Spaghetti Dinner."  That event was organized by close friends who even brought their own pots and pans from their homes to help us out.  That event was so successful (200 dinners per hour) that, a month later, the community of Franklin gathered to see a video of that day.  In the 70's-80's we had two Festivals, one in the Spring, and the other at the end of the Summer.
